2026 marks the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. The Middlebury Historical Society will celebrate this milestone, honoring those who fought in the Revolution, the part that Middlebury played in out nation’s founding, and the values that have become an indelible part of the American people and our form of government.
Selectperson Jennifer Mahr has accepted the appointment as coordinator of Middlebury’s 250 Anniversary Celebration by the Middlebury Board of Selectpersons. The Middlebury Historical Society will assist in any way possible to design and implement events that will celebrate this milestone in our country’s history.
